Houston's heaviest melodic black metal band have burned hot and fast this year with slots on the Decibel Magazine Tour, Milwaukee Metal Fest and Full Terror Assault, as well as dates with Obituary, Goatwhore and Vitriol. Come January, they're spreading another thick coat of total southern darkness over four headlining dates across their native Texas.

As Savage Lands prove on their breathtaking new single, metalheads aren't ones to back down from a fight. After witnessing how land developers are tearing down Costa Rica's rain forest, Megadeth drummer Dirk Verbeuren and his old guitarist Sylvain Demercastel decided they weren't going to sit around and rust in peace. In 2022, they started Savage Lands, the music industry's first artist-run environmental non-profit.

Bask are road testing new songs during four upcoming dates across the Southeast. A portion of the proceeds from their hometown show at Eulogy will be donated to Lamplight AVL, a local organization who are supporting Asheville artists as the city recovers from a major hurricane.
