ANCIIENTS – Heart of Oak – October 29, 2013

Vancouver’s ANCIIENTS have added more headlining dates for their forthcoming North American tour. The tour, which started on October 9th with TESSERACT in Vancouver BC, is running for two months and includes a second tour supporting SEPULTURA. New tour dates include Pittsburgh, LA, and Tucson; a show in West Chester, PA with ORANGE GOBLIN and HOLY GRAIL; and a new show in Portland, OR with LORD DYING.

The first leg of the current tour sees ANCIIENTS playing alongside TESSERACT and SCALE THE SUMMIT. Dubbed the “Altered State North America 2013” tour, this lineup is running through the US and Canada and ends on October 29th. The band will then play select headlining dates starting on Oct. 30th before jumping on the second leg of the tour, which sees ANCIIENTS supporting SEPULTURA through eastern US and Canadian major markets. ANCIIENTS are touring in support of their debut album, ‘Heart of Oak’. The critically-acclaimed record is streaming here, and available now across several formats. The band was recently showcased as the featured artist in the latest installment of “Converse x Decibel”. A mini@documentary about how the vast woodlands and epic mountain ranges of British Columbia influence the band’s elaborate and progressive songs is streaming here.
