After 2008’s highly innovative debut “Hilal”, ARKAN will be back with their sophomore album on April 18th! Once again blending middle-eastern music with European death metal, the French / Algerian / Moroccan band named this new release “Salam”, which means “peace”.
The album was produced by Fredrik Nordström at Fredman Studio, who made the following comment: “With this album Arkan excel in their art of mixing metal and Arabic music. The result is close to a masterpiece and these guys are its amazing conductors.”
“Arabic music brings endless inspiration and with Salam we are only beginning”, the band adds.
