We are sorry to announce that FAIR TO MIDLAND had to cancel their November tour as opening act for EVANESCENCE in Europe. Here is a statement from the band:

“‘Arrows and Anchors’ might be the heaviest non-metal album you will hear this year,” claims FAIR TO MIDLAND singer Darroh Sudderth. Indeed, the third full length of the quintet from small farm town Sulphur Springs in Texas, USA surprises with a rough edge to their established repertoire of stunningly beautiful harmonies and catchy melodies. This organic sound is enhanced by producer Joe Barresi (TOOL, KYUSS, COHEED AND CAMBRIA). Founded in 1998 FAIR TO MIDLAND were catapulted into the spotlights and prestigious festivals like Rock am Ring or Download, when Serj Tankian signed them on his own label to release “The Drawn and Quartered EP” (2006) and “Fables from a Mayfly” (2007).
The SYSTEM OF A DOWN frontman was utterly impressed by seeing FAIR TO MIDLAND perform live. and their unique sound amalgamated out of Rock, Pop, Prog and Metal. Before growing to international fame the Texans already created a buzz in the US Alternative Rock scene. Their two independent releases “The Carbon Copy Silver Lining EP” (2001) and the 2004 debut “inter.funda.stifle” already gained high critical acclaim. Subsequently, the Lone Star State’s fastest rising act shared stages with bands such as THE SMASHING PUMPKINS, ALICE IN CHAINS and SERJ TANKIAN.
