CORRUPT MORAL ALTAR – New Signing – March 4, 2014
Posted on March 4, 2014
Season of Mist is proud to announce the signing of UK grind / sludge hardcore power house CORRUPT MORAL ALTAR. The band (Chris Reese – Vocals, John Cooke – Guitar / Vocals, Adam Clarkson – Bass, Tom Dring – Drums) recently completed their brand new full length album, to be released late 2014.
Regarding the signing, the band issued the following statement: “It’s been an accomplishment for us to complete the recording of our debut album and work with people that we never thought we’d have the opportunity to create music with, and it’s an honour to sign with Season of Mist and to be part of such an eclectic label and team. We would like to take this opportunity to issue a formal volume warning with our forthcoming album, and CORRUPT MORAL ALTAR takes no responsibility for the end of the world. Seriously though, we are looking forward to touring the hell out of this record and ruining ourselves in the process. If you have seen our shows, keep coming. If you haven’t seen our shows, we are just getting started and you will soon.”
CORRUPT MORAL ALTAR have created shock-waves in the English underground upon the release of two EPs, a demo, and intimidating live shows. CORRUPT MORAL ALTAR have toured extensively in their native England, playing alongside international bands such as BRUTAL TRUTH, PSYCROPTIC, EXTREME NOISE TERROR, HOUR OF PENANCE and more in the process.
Upcoming live dates:
19 Mar 14 Manchester (UK) Kraak
28 Mar 14 Hengelo (NL) Metropool
30 Mar 14 Drachten (NL) Iduna
“CMA’s dirty sludge grind pulls no punches and their all-out furious assault leave no space for giving a fuck about anything at all. Whiskey Sierra is terrifying and will leave you breathless and begging for more.” – Metal Hammer
“…CMA’s super-sludgy stabs hit like a demented mutation of ENT and Iron Monkey, pitching Glen Benton’s fiendish double-demon amid commodious dog bowls of thickly slavered yap.” – Record Collector
“Obscenely intense and sludgy grindcore ugliness that hits so hard that, in true Nails fashion, these four songs in ten minutes almost feels like a full album.” – Terrorizer
