HEILUNG Reveals First Echo of Monumental Red Rocks Ritual with Traust

In the shadows of towering sandstones that whisper the ancient tales of the land, HEILUNG invoked the spirits of old at the world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre twice over. Now, from that unforgettable night under the starlit Colorado sky, the Nordic collective brings forth Traust, a fragment from their forthcoming live album, LIFA Iotungard.

HEILUNG, known to bring their amplified history wherever they tread, transcend the ordinary limits of music. Traust, which unfolds in a powerful surge of throat singing, primordial rhythms, and mystic chants, transports listeners back to a time where the veil between worlds was thinnest. Christopher Juul, Maria Franz, Kai Uwe Faust, and their battalion of warriors, equipped with the lore of ages, cast a spell that reverberates through the bones of the Earth itself.

Recorded during their first pilgrimage to Red Rocks in October of 2021, the live album captures the essence of HEILUNG‘s ritual. As torches blazed and drums echoed between the sandstones, a sacred space was created, linking the hearts of the present with the spirits of the past.
