Winnipeg’s, post-hardcore outfit KEN MODE (Jesse Matthewson – Vocals, Guitar; Shane Matthewson – Drums; Andrew Lacour- Bass) are kicking off their North American tour tomorrow night in Iowa City. The six week tour, the band’s first of 2014, is kicking off today and will end on March 16th. The RUSSIAN CIRCLES/KEN MODE tour will be opened by INTER ARMA and HELMS ALEE on select dates. KEN MODE are touring in support of their critically-acclaimed new album ‘Entrench’, their first full length for Season of Mist. ‘Entrench’ has landed on several “best of 2013” year-end lists, including Pitchfork, Exclaim, Loudwire, Stereogum, Buzzfeed, and many more.
