After 2008’s highly innovative debut “Hilal”, ARKAN will be back with their sophomore album on April 18th! Once again blending middle-eastern music with European death metal, the French / Algerian / Moroccan band named this new release “Salam”, which means “peace”.
BENIGHTED’s sixth album will hit the stores on March 21st (March 29th in the US), in a digipak edition limited to the first pressing. The French death metallers’ new opus is entitled “Asylum Cave” and tells the story of a schizophrenic man and the abysses of his delirium about Josef Fritzl. French metallers MINUSHUMAN just entered the Conkrete Studio with producer Mobo (OTARGOS, ERYN NON DAE, WARATTAH…) who had worked on 2008’s “Watch the World Die”. The guys will spend six weeks there, recording, mixing and mastering their sophomore album, which title is yet to be unveiled. Stay tuned for updates!

Season of Mist proudly announces the signing of OF LEGENDS, the metal side project from Luis Dubuc, of THE SECRET HANDSHAKE fame. After extensive tours and nice billboards entries, Dubuc announced the creation of OF LEGENDS a few months ago. Make no mistake though: OF LEGENDS is far from the Motown and Soul influences of Dubuc’s previous project. “Stranded” is nothing but pure metal, going towards the modern extreme and core scenes and delivering riffs that make your feet and neck move to the rupture. The kind of music somebody coming from a much groovier place could write – only with a ton of anger and hate on top!
