As previously announced, WATAIN’s song “Reaping Death”, off the “Lawless Darkness” album, was released in April as a 7″ picture disc and a CD single. The former was unleashed last week on Walpurgisnacht and is limited to 1300 copies worldwide, and the latter was exclusively distributed in Sweden and was certified gold for sales in excess of 10.000 copies. So it’s time for the whole world to get their hands on the song!
Scheduled for a June 7th release, “Lawless Darkness” is already available for pre-order on Season of Mist’s e-shop!
The album will come in four physical formats:
- CD Digipak with die-cut cover and bonus track
- “Leather book” box set limited to 1.000 copies including the Digipak version of the album, a pendant + necklace, a black candle, a flag and 10 tarot cards
- Triple gatefold LP with die-cut cover including two vinyl discs, a 24 page full-size booklet and a poster, released by Norma Evangelium Diaboli and limited to 2500 copies
- CD jewel case
The first 20 customers to order the box set will get a free copy of the exclusive “Reaping Death” CD single. Yes, the very same item that was only available with the April issue of Sweden Rock Magazine and isn’t for sale anywhere else!
