SHINING have revealed a brand new track taken from their forthcoming full-length ‘IX – Everyone, Everything, Everywhere, Ends’ and have released a string of festival dates. The song “Besök Från I(ho)nom” is exclusively streaming through the official media partners below.

Niklas Kvarforth comments: “A second track from the upcoming ‘IX – Everyone, Everything, Everywhere, Ends’ album is now being streamed for your inconvenience. Although it might appear to differ in many ways from the way I usually arrange songs, myself (and a few others who heard it in advance) noticed quite a few similarities here and there to basically each era of our existence. Again, I do think it might be an advantage, spellbinding not only fans of our latter albums but also those who might not have appreciated the direction I chose to follow after the III or IV album. The release date draws nearer and nearer and we might, or might not, provide you another sample before the darkness descends in full… Nevertheless, for the time being, ‘enjoy!'”

SHINING’s Niklas Kvarforth appears on the cover of German Legacy magazine and in a joint interview with Grutle from EENSLAVED. Both bands contribute new and rare tracks for an attached bonus EP. The magazine is in German and out now!
IX – Everyone, Everything, Everywhere, Ends’ has been scheduled for release on the 20th of April 2015 (one day later in North America). The album can already be pre-ordered in various formats including collectors’ editions via the Season of Mist shop.
SHINING have previously revealed that their cover artwork has been created by Daniele Serra. The renowned illustrator is well known for his collaboration with Joe R. Lansdale for the praised graphic novel “I Tell You It’s Love” among numerous other award winning works. Daniele Serra regularly contributes for companies such as Weird Tales Magazine and DC Comics, and is behind the stunning illustrations for the new and already award nominated “Hellraiser: Bestiary” series.
