The band comments: “As this song has its roots back in 2011, it represents the older days of DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT and attacks in a very melodic fashion. Over the years, we have constantly worked on this song until its final recording. Eventually it found its place among our more recent tracks on ‘Stellar’. For the first time ever, the lyrics of one of our songs have been translated into English by a native speaker. You can view both the original German text and the translation within this lyric video. The clip is based on the album artwork created by the young artist Max Löffler. His artwork offers one picture individually drawn by hand for each song, which can be only found in their entirety in the extended booklet of the limited Digibox edition. If you have not done that already, better order it before all copies gone. We are very proud to give you another glimpse of what to expect on ‘Stellar’ – musically – but also regarding the visual side!”

On further news, the German black metal progenies have already announced a string of European dates with DOWNFALL OF GAIA in March and April this year. A full list of confirmed dates can be viewed below.

DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT will be joined by compatriot sludge and post-metal outfit DOWNFALL OF GAIA. The tour will start in Germany at Berlin’s Binuu on the 19th of March and continues through nine other countries before the grand finale at Juha West in Stuttgart back in Germany.
