SÓLSTAFIR – Ótta – November 13, 2014

SÓLSTAFIR have announced new European tour dates for early next year and released live footage taken from national television in their native Iceland. The eclectic heavy rockers will return to the continent at the Nouveau Casino in Paris, France on January 27th and add shows in Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, the Baltic states and Russia. The current SÓLSTAFIR tour with label mates OBSIDIAN KINGDOM and guests continues to report venues sold out in advance. Wien, Austria has just been added to the increasing list that already features the German cities of München, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Köln and Berlin. On further news, SÓLSTAFIR have performed two songs taken from their critically acclaimed new album ‘Ótta’ on Iceland’s national television. Footage of the band playing “Dagmál” (at the 12:23 mark) and “Rismál” (at 32:40) can be found at the official Icelandic National Television’s Studio A website.

SÓLSTAFIR recently revealed a stunning new video for the song “Lágnætti” taken from their current full-length masterpiece ‘Ótta’, which recently entered the charts in Finland, Germany and Austria among other countries and can be viewed here.
