NECROFIER Kicks Off Run of Texas Shows, Completes Work on Sophomore Album

Texan black metal battalion Necrofier will be hitting the road in support of BATUSHKA tomorrow, September 30, in their hometown of Houston, TX. The band will join the tour throughout Texas, which sees dates in Austin and Dallas as well. The full run of dates is as follows:

09/30: Houston, TX @ White Oak Music Hall
10/01: Austin, TX @ Come and Take it Live
10/02: Dallas, TX @ Amplified Live
 
In addition, the band has just completed work on their sophomore full-length! The record was recorded at legendary Studio G in Brooklyn, NY by 6x Grammy nominated and 1x Latin Grammy nominated engineer, producer, and musician Joel Hamilton (UNSANE, IGGY POP, TOM WAITS). The album will follow up the band’s debut record, ‘Prophecies of Eternal Darkness,’ which was released in October of 2021. Stay tuned!

Necrofier kept the black flame burning in 2023. Back at the beginning of summer, their new album was hailed upon arrival by Distorted Sound as “another stunning slab of black metal”.
