What better season than the summer to announce the signing of a band from the Maldives? Season of Mist is happy to welcome newcomers NOTHNEGAL to the roster! The whole staff can’t wait to go and see the band play live in their home country…
“We are proud to announce that we have signed a worldwide deal with Season of Mist”, guitarist Hilarl comments. “This is a huge step forward for us where our careers and our lives are concerned. We have heard nothing but great things about SoM and we are confident that we can take the band to the next level with them.”
NOTHNEGAL’s debut should hit the stores early 2011. Before that, the band will be touring Europe in next November / December as opening act for label mates ROTTING CHRIST, SAMAEL, METSATÖLL and FINNTROLL.

Posted on May 14, 2013Maldivian melodic heavy metal band NOTHNEGAL will release their new self-titled EP on July 9th, 2013 via Season of Mist. The EP was recorded at Vakaruge Studios in the Maldives with producer Shamheed, with additional production being handled by Matt Hyde (SLIPKNOT, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, AS I LAY DYING) and Paul Reeve (MUSE). The ‘Nothnegal’ EP will consist of four tracks and will be released exclusively in digital format.

Posted on May 16, 2012Maldivian powerhouse NOTHNEGALs debut album “Decadence” hit the stores earlier this year. As announced last November, each copy from the first pressing came with a unique code that could allow you to win a 5-day trip to the Maldives. The competition is now over and we are pleased to announce that Savisko Vitaly from Moscow, Russia is the lucky winner of a one return flight to the Maldives, an all-inclusive stay (including scuba-diving and other water sport activities) for two persons and a meet & greet with the band.
