WATAIN’S LAWLESS PRE-SALES

As previously announced, WATAIN’s song “Reaping Death”, off the “Lawless Darkness” album, was released in April as a 7″ picture disc and a CD single. The former was unleashed last week on Walpurgisnacht and is limited to 1300 copies worldwide, and the latter was exclusively distributed in Sweden and was certified gold for sales in excess of 10.000 copies. So it’s time for the whole world to get their hands on the song!

KYLESA IN RECORDING MODE

While between extensive tours of Europe, KYLESA entered the studio earlier this week to commence the recording of their fifth full-length release, and debut for Season of Mist. The sessions will take place over the month of June at the legendary Jam Room in Columbia, South Carolina, with Phillip Cope at the helm as producer. The band is very excited about the new material and they have been working tirelessly on the writing since January of this year.

ATHEIST TO ENTER THE STUDIO

After 17 years, the wait is finally over… Atheist are set to enter LedBelly recording studios in Atlanta, GA on July 5th to lay the tracks down on their long-awaited, yet untitled, fourth studio album! Engineering the recording session will be Matt Washburn. Additionally, the band have secured the services of one of metal’s most significant talents of the past decade, Jason Suecof (TRIVIUM, CHIMAIRA, DEVILDRIVER and many others), to handle the mixing of what promises to be a modern classic from the pioneers of technical metal.

OTARGOS ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM

After the success of last year’s “Fuck God – Disease Process” album, Season of Mist is proud to continue their collaboration with French Black Metal act OTARGOS. The band’s fourth plague is entitled “No God, No Satan” and will hit the stores on next August 30th on the Underground Activists division.

WATAIN TO PERFORM AT MARYLAND DEATHFEST

In an official statement to American fans before the band’s headlining appearance at this year’s Maryland Deathfest, WATAIN frontman E. warns of the carnage to come: “We are leaving for the US in a few hours from now, armed to the teeth and ready to murder. The Watain performance at Maryland Deathfest shall be a triumphant holocaust of all that is holy, and a massive celebration of the gods of Lawless Darkness! Be prepared…”

Black kings WATAIN’s single CD “Reaping Death”, exclusively distributed in Sweden via Sweden Rock Magazine, got certified gold by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry on April 21st! Season of Mist congratulate the band and the magazine for having sold 10000 discs in two weeks.
